the announcement below contains details of the shortlist for the Aberdare Literary Prize, which will be presented at the Society's Annual Conference in London in September.
Thanks to Jason Wood for the details and thanks also to Jason, who steps down this summer after serving four years on the selection panel - the last two as its Chair.
Aberdare Literary Prize for Sports History
The short list for the Aberdare Prize for books published in 2010 is as follows (in alphabetical order):

The winner will be announced at the BSSH conference on 2-3 September 2011.
